Abstract:

Resilience explains the individual's capability to act positively in the situation of difficulty, anxiety, or disturbing life events. Mindfulness is a state of consciously aware and gives their attention on the present moment. Spiritual well-being helps to creating a sense of relationship with a superior power. This correlational study examines the relationship between resilience and spiritual well-being, with the help of mediating role of mindfulness. The sample consisted of 236 university students of Agra city. They were assessed with the help of Brief Resilience Scale (BRS), the Mindful Attention Awareness Scale (MAAS), and the Spiritual Well-Being Scale (SWBS). Data were analyzed with using regression-based mediation analysis. The findings exposed that there was a significant positive association among resilience, mindfulness, and spiritual well-being. Additionally, mindfulness was found to fully mediate the role between resilience and spiritual well-being, suggesting its fundamental role in enhancing students’ well-being through resilience.
