Adolescents begin experiencing a transition from childhood to adulthood throughout this stage of development. This developmental stage is highlighted by issues related to associations, independence, identity, and sexuality. Adolescence can be the time when mental health issues, such as anxiety disorders, mood disorders, and other conditions (Such as schizophrenia), emerge or initially show symptoms. For people in this age range, suicide is the primary cause of death. Many teenagers' mental health has also been damaged by the COVID-19 pandemic and the worldwide response to it, which included alterations to their everyday lives and break from school. Despite this, adolescence is a time when significant choices are made. Now is the perfect moment to discover one’s identity and life goals. Adolescents will therefore probably deal with a variety of challenges throughout this phase. Every person needs a wide range of psycho-social and interpersonal abilities known as "life skills" in order to enjoy a healthy and fulfilling life. These are the abilities that support young people's mental health and competence. Teaching young people life skills empowers them to conduct themselves effectively in society. These life skills are crucial because they will enable youngsters to deal with issues that arise in their daily lives. Education in life skills can be delivered using a variety of techniques, including group discussions, role play, and brainstorming.
