Discrimination and stigma towards people with disabilities have always been issues. Every class, culture and society is familiar with those who are physically disabled. This study therefore sought sought to explore challenges facing students with physical disabilities amidst New COVID-19 wave pandemic in Agona West Municipality (AWM) in the Central region of Ghana. The study used a descriptive phenomenological research design. Using snowball sampling technique, six participants were chosen. Data were gathered through interviews, and they were then thematically analysed. It was established that during the New Wave COVID-19 pandemic at AWM, children with physical disabilities experienced stress because they lacked access to facilities, their complaints to the authorities were not taken seriously, and they were also discouraged by their instructors and parents. Also, these kids developed beneficial coping skills for the difficulties they encountered during the New COVID-19 Wave pandemic in AWM. These coping skills included the utilisation of social support networks, and problem-solving techniques. It was determined that during the New COVID-19 Wave pandemic, students with physical limitations did not have it easy. Yet, they managed to get it because of the effective coping strategies they developed. On the basis of the study’s findings recommendations are given.
