Himachal Pradesh, known for its Himalayan landscapes, is a prominent destination for adventure tourism, offering activities such as trekking, river rafting, skiing, and paragliding. This paper reviews the evolution of adventure tourism in the state, noting its historical development and current status. Despite diverse offerings, the sector remains underdeveloped due to infrastructure and marketing gaps. Key opportunities include enhancing infrastructure, investing in sustainable practices, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders. The paper analysis, examine with recommendations to improve strategic planning, promotion, and sustainability, aiming to position Himachal Pradesh as a leading global adventure tourism destination. By addressing these areas, Himachal Pradesh can achieve sustainable growth, offering memorable experiences while promoting environmental conservation and economic benefits.
